Coverdale Watson Park is a beautiful neighbourhood park set within a natural environment in stunning Cowichan Bay. The park is off Wilmot Road and is one of the few parks with a tennis court. The park was revitalized in 2015 with a new playground and trails through the park
The park was named after Reverand Coverdale Watson, the first Minister of the Cowichan Branch Methodist Church. A Church was built in this location in 1883 after the George Bartlett family donated the site. The original Bartlett farm is located on the north side of Wilmot Road, across from the park.
