• To offset the cost of animal control services including patrols and investigating complaints
• Dog parks, their maintenance and supplies, including waste disposal bags

Dog License Vendors

Dog licenses and tags for residents of the CVRD Electoral Areas are available at any of the following locations after November 1, 2021:

• Shawnigan Lake - Shawnigan Lake Community Centre; Cobble Hill Market
• Cobble Hill - Cobble Hill Market; Laughing Llama
• Cowichan Bay - Pier 66
• Duncan - CVRD Office; Buckerfield’s; Coastal Animal Control Services
• Ladysmith - Town of Ladysmith City Hall office; Frank Jameson Community Centre
• Lake Cowichan - Cowichan Lake Recreation
