WHAT’S HAPPENING?

The Cowichan Valley Regional District (CVRD) is developing a concept plan for Little Beach Park!

Located on the Cowichan River in Electoral Area F – Cowichan Lake South/Skutz Falls, Little Beach Park is a popular summertime destination for swimming, tubing, paddling, and river access. With increasing use over the years, the park now faces several planning challenges—ranging from shoreline erosion and habitat degradation to informal access and user safety. To help guide future improvements, the CVRD is preparing a comprehensive concept plan that will explore opportunities for shoreline stabilization, improved river access, ecological restoration, signage, and long-term park management.
