Canada Post Strike Action - CVRD Utility Bill Notices

Attention CVRD Utility customers.

Due to the current Canada Post strike action, residents in the following areas are expected to experience delays in receiving their CVRD Utility bill notices: 

 • Shawnigan Lake Water, Electoral Area B

• Shawnigan Village Water, Electoral Area B

 • Kerry Village Water, Electoral Area A

• Cherry Point Water, Electoral Area D

• Arbutus Mountain Water, Electoral Area B

• Fern Ridge Water, Electoral Area A

• Carlton Water, Electoral Areas A & B

• Dogwood Ridge Water, Electoral Area E

• Malahat Water, Electoral Area B

• Mesachie Lake Sewer, Electoral Area F

 If the strike continues into mid-October, the following areas may also be affected:

• Saltair Water, Electoral Area G

• Lambourn Estates Water, Electoral Area D

• Satellite Park Water, Electoral Area C

• Bald Mountain Water, Electoral Area I

• Youbou Water, Electoral Area I

• Douglas Hill Water, Electoral Areas C & D

If the strike continues into mid-November, the following areas may also be affected:

 • Honeymoon Bay Water, Electoral Area F

• Woodley Range Water, Electoral Area H

• Shellwood Water, Electoral Area H

• Shell Beach Water, Electoral Area H

• Lambourn Estates Sewer, Electoral Area D

Residents and businesses are encouraged to use alternative methods to make payments on time. You may contact the CVRD office to get a copy of your bill, sign up for E-Bill, or request your account balance in order to pay online.

To ensure that you receive the early payment discount, please pay your bill on or before the discount date stated on your bill.
 
Please note: The CVRD is required by statutory requirement to transfer all outstanding utilities balances on December 31, 2025 to the Surveyor of Taxes.
